The Lindbergh All District Musical is a community-driven theater program supported by Lindbergh Schools' Community Education and Recreation Department. It brings together students from 1st through 12th grade, along with staff, alumni, parents, and community members, to produce a full-scale musical each winter.

1. Auditions are free and sign ups will open on the Lindbergh All District Musical audition platform at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 20th and will stay open through Wednesday, September 23rd unless all spots are filled before that date.

2. Families can review the audition materials and read about the audition process. 

3. Auditions will be held at Sperreng Middle School between 5:00 and 7:00 PM on these dates:

• September 28th, September 29th and September 30th

4. Cast lists will be posted on or before Thursday, October 8th.

5. There will be a strongly encouraged parent meeting on Wednesday, October 14th at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria at Sperreng.

6. Participants will register and pay the $89 participation fee through Arux to accept their role.

Yes! This is open to the Lindbergh community. All participants must register for an audition.

Yes! In the spirit of creating a true “all district” musical, high school students are encouraged to sign up if interested in helping using this form. (For security purposes, students must sign up with their Lindbergh email address.)

Cast

• Auditions are no cost.

• Enrollment fee is $89 per performer, which includes participation, script fees, a cast T-shirt, and the cast party. It also helps cover the cost of set pieces, props, show rights, insurance, and programs. The enrollment fee does not cover additional costume costs and tickets to the performances.

• Financial assistance is available for participants in the free/reduced lunch program.

Crew

• There is no cost to participate in crew. 

• Cast Rehearsals are scheduled from 5-7 PM at Sperreng MIddle School on Tuesdays  (named roles) and Wednesdays (all cast) from October 20th through January 11th.  An additional night will be added to the rehearsal schedule each week in December/early January as we begin running the full show. The full schedule will be shared with announcement of the cast list.

• Crew Rehearsals/Work Sessions are scheduled by the crew lead. They will communicate those times as it is different for every crew.

• Tech Week will be at LHS the week of January 4th-7th & 11th; these rehearsals are mandatory. 

• Family Review Nights will be January 12th & 13th. These act as final dress rehearsals where family can come and watch free of charge.

• Performances will be January 13th-17th; each cast will perform a total of 3 times.

• To keep costs low, we will ask each family to volunteer 2 times. Volunteer roles may include helping with drop off/pick up at rehearsals, helping with supervision during rehearsals and performances, concession support, and sharing talents including set design, carpentry, sewing, etc.

• Help us make this a successful and positive experience for everyone! For many students, this will be their very first theater experience and we want to make sure it’s fun and full of positive memories for every child.
